Coach Ali empowers clients to train and maximize mental strength, agility, and flexibility (think weight room for the mind). Sessions are individualized based on the needs of the person, group, or team, and typically consists of a combination of applied drills, exercises, discussions, written activities, and biofeedback technology.
Coach Ali is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology, and is an active member of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee - Sport Psychology Registry. My performance in “big” games/competitions drops compared to regular games/competitions
I have difficulty concentrating or frequently lose focus
I have trouble controlling my emotions during games/competitions/practices
My confidence fluctuates, depending on the situation
I have difficulty recovering from setbacks
I am more motivated to avoid failure than to achieve success
I am a perfectionist
I’m coming back from an injury and don’t feel confident
I wish my performances were more consistent
I have a hard time dealing with my high-stress or high-risk occupation
